Throughout 2024 we will be running a series of 6 week Mindfulness course throughout Redcar and Cleveland.  Thanks for the National Lottery Community Fund these course are full funded.  Places are limited and booking is essential.

What is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness is the act of being aware of your internal state and surroundings.  It can help people to avoid destructive or automatic habaits and responses.  When being mindful we learn to observe our thoughts and emotions without judgement or reactive response. Through mindful practice we can retrain the mind to be present, allowing us to be in control, rather than the mind controlling us. 

Who is the course for?

This course is for anyone who would like to learn what mindfulness is and how to implement it into their everyday life. It can be a great tool to help manage our busy everyday lives, a means to relieve stress and anxiety.  During the course we will explore proven techniques that are simply but effective.

Included in the course are light refreshments and each participant will receive a booklet to guide them through mindful practice at home.
